Events during Henry VIII’s reign are seen from the point-of-view of Thomas Cromwell. Rising from the lower classes as the protege of Cardinal Wolsey, Cromwell becomes the most powerful man in Henry’s government, engineering the dissolution of Henry’s first two marriages.
A total of 21 actors play 41 roles including Cromwell, Henry VIII, and Anne Boleyn.
